The Jerusalem Center is Brigham Young University's center for study in Jerusalem. Students enroll through the BYU campus in Provo, Utah, travel to the Holy Land, and live in the Center for programs that extend for two, four, or five months. Robert "Bob" C. Taylor was born April 17, 1927 in Salt Lake City to Frank C. and Bessie T. Taylor. Mr. Taylor served in the United States Coast Guard from March 1945 to May 1946. He was a German-reading specialist. He then attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT, where he received a bachelor's degree in Speech in 1952.
